The YBE Rocky Bay department, consists of a dedicated crew of 6 multi-skilled professional operators (including a trainer and assessor) and runs 12 hour days, 5 days a week.  This department has evolved into becoming the major contributor within the YBE structure.

We have a modern fleet of road trains, loaders and dozers that transport 1 million ton of crushed bauxite within the mine site. Due to the production regime this requires a high degree of quality and safety controls, proven by our excellent safety record.  

YBE Rocky Bay offers the following services:

• Bulk haulage of bauxite materials
• Leaders in the development of mine compliance re stockpile management
• Training of indigenous trainees
• Supply of skilled and highly trained operators
